I’d like to add some that I’ve encountered while living in Puntarenas…

Me cago en diez! “I shit on 10!” Very angry.
Me cago en veinte! “I shit on 20!” Very, very angry.
Jue pucha! “Son of a bitch!” This is how some women pronounce the Hijueputa (hijo de puta). I think they think it adds linguistic class.

Also, I’d like to add that when someone is cussing at you and they refer to “leche,” leche is also slang for semen. Usually they mean, “Me cago en la leche,” as “I shit on the semen that produced you!

My personal favorite CR insult was one I heard during a bar fight, and I don’t remember what the Spanish translation was, but in English it meant something like, “your whore mother should have aborted you!”

Hey I noticed throughout the whole entire explanation of cuss words,….. the cab driver must’ve really ripped you off bad. Each and every other sentence has at least that sentence where as you said ” the cab driver that is trying to rip you off or has ripped you off. Anyway, I thought it was funny and yeah you did forget Carepicha!!! But thanks I think I’ma use some of these on my boyfriend.
