You’ve decided to travel to, through or in Costa Rica and now need to make the next decision: which towns to stop in and what accommodations you want to serve as your base. Casa Ciudadela welcomes students that have decided to immerse themselves in the Spanish language and also anyone attending conferences or congresses. Credit cards are accepted though please be sure to alert your company and let them know you will be enjoying the beautiful environs of Costa Rica so that they do not block access to your account. Also, it is common practice for a company to charge a foreign transaction fee for card use. This is not a fee from the hostel and is not in thier control.
Tourist packages include trips to the volcano environs outside of San Jose, including to the volcano itself or if you so desire to the Tabacon Hot Spings and Resort or hot springs in Baldi. There are many other options available if you learn of something else you’d like to see and Casa Ciudadela will be more than glad to assist in any tourist arrangements you need to make.
If you have seen enough of the beautiful countryside of Costa Rica and simply want to enjoy the company of other travelers, Casa Ciudadela is perfect for that as well. And if you and your new found friends decide to wander through the streets of Heredia until the sun comes up, you will be glad to know there is no curfew in place.
